The expanded featured content section gives program administrators using Stream Manager more control over their homepage experience. By adjusting the layout, admins can strategically showcase up to 12 pieces of content, improving visibility and engagement with priority initiatives.
Note: Expanded featured content is only available to programs using Stream Manager. If you do not see this option, your program may not have Stream Manager enabled yet. Contact your Client Success Manager if you need help getting access.
Permissions
Anyone with the following user roles can set up and manage expanded featured content:
Campaign manager
Volunteer manager
Content manager
Dashboard manager
Choosing a featured content layout
Admins can configure how featured content appears on the homepage by updating the layout settings in the dashboard.
Select Manage > Content > Dashboard Settings.
Scroll to Select a layout for the Featured Content section of the dashboard.

Choose a layout:
3-card carousel (default layout)
6-card grid
9-card grid
Select Submit at the bottom of the Dashboard Settings page to save your changes.
This layout setting controls how many content items are visible at once. You can still feature up to 12 content items total in the carousel.
Previewing featured content
When adding content through Stream Manager, the preview panel automatically displays the selected layout (3, 6, or 9). This ensures the content appears as intended before publishing to your homepage.
