Enable to Company Impact Report to highlight your company's overall impact and the contributions of individual teams to all your people. Managers can also track their team's giving, volunteering, and Challenges efforts over a chosen period to boost participation and promote local goodness. This report is updated in real-time.
To view the reports, users navigate to the Dashboard and select View Company Impact, located below their profile name and photo.
Users will see reports that correspond with your company's program. For instance, users in a volunteer-only program won't see the "Giving" report or donation metrics in the "Overall participation" tab.
- Overall Participation: metrics include overall participation rate, amount donated, number of volunteer hours tracked and Missions activities completed.
- Volunteering: metrics include volunteer participation rate, number of volunteers, total volunteer hours and volunteer opportunities.
- Giving: metrics include donation participation rate, number of donors, total donation amount and number of nonprofits supported.
Permissions
Users with the Site Settings role can enable this report and group data.
Enabling the report
To enable the Company Impact Report for your people, navigate to Manage > Site Settings > Company Impact and select Enable Company Impact Report.
Customizing the report
Creating multi-level data groupings enables users to view their impact at different levels of the organization. For example, a user could view the impact their company is making on a global, regional, national, or local level.
How to create a data grouping:
- Navigate to Manage > Site Settings > Company Impact and select Add Group.
- Enter a Group name that will be visible to users. For example, 'Region'.
- In Level 1 select a demographic data field from the dropdown menu. Data will be grouped by this level when the report is loaded.
- Select Add Level to choose another field to filter by. Data is grouped by this field when a Level 1 value is selected.
- Select Preview to view the report as a user.
- Select Save Groupings to confirm groups.
Filtering reports
- Group Type: select any data grouping (if configured by a program administrator).
- Start date/end date: filter impact over a specific period.
Exporting data
Once users have selected and applied filters, they can Export the data in PDF, XLSX or CSV for further visualization.
Glossary terms
- Overall Participation: users who have donated, tracked volunteer time, or completed a missions activity (if enabled) displayed as a percentage of eligible users.
- Volunteer Participation: users who have tracked volunteer time displayed as a percentage of eligible users.
- Donation Participation: users who have donated as a percentage of eligible users.
- Eligible user: Any user that had access to the site during the selected timeframe.
- UTC: Universal Time Coordinated. This is the standard time zone of all reports.
FAQ
Does the data in the Company Impact report include grants, corporate donations or CI portal donations? No, data in this report only represents the donations, volunteer time tracked and missions activities completed by users.
Will employees be able to see each other's activity with this report? No, an individual's data is always grouped with the data of other users, so it is not possible to see an individual's activity. Groups with <6 employees will not be displayed.
