Reporting in Spark

Below is a list of the reports currently available in Spark. Anyone with the Reports Manager role can access the reports. The reports are built to be self-serve. We hope that they give you quick and easy access to your most common reporting needs, without having to ask our Benevity support teams for help.

Participation report

This report summarizes participation rate by timeframe and any field provided in your demographic data. Use it to see how participation rate is changing over time and to provide quick program updates to others in your company. To view this report, sign in to your site and go to Manage > Reports > Participation.

What you can do with the report:

  • Get the participation rate for your company
  • See how participation rates have changed over time
  • Compare participation rates between groups
  • Export the data as a CSV for further customizing

Web analytics report

This report displays page view data from Google Analytics. Use it to see how many users are visiting your site and the pages they visit ("users" means employees who are signed in to your Spark site). This data can help to plan communications for high-usage times and view the effects of marketing communications. To view this report, sign in to your site and go to Manage > Reports > Web Analytics.

Company impact report

This report shows your company’s overall participation rates, dollars donated, hours volunteered, and Missions activities completed. Use it to see your overall impact, or how individual teams are making a difference. To enable and customize this report, sign in to your site and go to Manage > Site Settings > Company Impact. When enabled, all users can access the report from the dashboard, directly below their name and profile image.

Donation Reports (DR)

This report displays a list of all your monthly Donation Reports and their payment. Use it to ensure invoices are paid on time, and to consult with your Accounts Payable team if they are overdue. To view this report, sign in to your site and go to Manage > Reports > Donation Reports (DR).

Giving report

This report shows donations by time or user characteristics, like location or department. Use it to see giving trends across your company. To view this report, sign in to your program and go to Manage > Reports > Giving.

Volunteering report

This report shows volunteering by time or user characteristics. Use it to see volunteering trends across your company. To view this report, sign in to your program and go to Manage > Reports > Volunteering.
