Benevity's Reporting Studio provides both standard dashboards and self-serve custom reporting options, enabling you to tailor your reporting to meet specific needs. Both options access the same underlying data sets. This ensures that the comprehensive insights you gain from standard dashboards can be further customized to suit your specific requirements. In this article, we'll explore the data available in Benevity's Reporting Studio, particularly focusing on the grants-related data.
Included data:
- Events
- Budgets
- Payments
- Request details
- Request categories
Not included data:
- Application questions (coming soon)
- Follow-up surveys
- Custom request data
- Custom payment data
By default, the time zone used is UTC, unless you can select otherwise. If you have specific reporting needs that involve data types not supported in Reporting Studio, reach out to your Client Success Manager or submit a support request. There may be a cost associated with developing custom reports.
Categories
Categories are client-specific and are established during the implementation phase to help identify grant requests based on certain characteristics or data points. These categories play a vital role in workflows, request management, and reporting. Examples include:
- Program
- Focus Area
- Country
- State
Categories are set automatically based on question responses or manually during the review process. While the top three categories are often included as filters and visualization groupings in standard dashboards, all categories are reportable within Reporting Studio.
