This article describes the default behaviour of a highly configurable system. Your granting program may appear or behave differently depending on user permissions and custom configurations. If you do not appear to have access to everything you need, use the Help > Request Help link to request additional permissions.
To ensure email templates are available where and when you need them, you can link them to specific proposal types and mailboxes. This determines where each template appears, such as in the Proposal View or Mailboxes Table View.
By managing these settings, you streamline communication by making the right templates available in the right places across your workflow.
Opening the template settings
To open the template settings:
- Select the name of the template you want to update in the Email Templates section.
- Select Settings under More Actions in the right panel.
- Add or delete one or more settings that link the template to proposal types and mailboxes on the Settings page.
Adding settings
- Select New Setting to add a new usage.
- Edit the following fields in the New Settings popup:
- Email type (Required)
Defines where the template is available:- Select Custom to make the template available from the Proposal View using More Actions > Send New Email.
- Select Mailbox Grid to make the template available from the Mailboxes Table View using More Actions > Send Email.
- Select Custom to make the template available from the Proposal View using More Actions > Send New Email.
- Proposal types (Required)
Select one or more proposal types to associate with the template.- Use Select all to choose all proposal types, or select X to deselect all.
- Use Select all to choose all proposal types, or select X to deselect all.
- Mailboxes (Required)
Select one or more mailboxes to associate with the template.- Use Select all to choose all mailboxes, or select X to deselect all.
- Use Select all to choose all mailboxes, or select X to deselect all.
- Email type (Required)
- Select Save to apply changes.
Deleting settings
To delete a single setting:
- Select Delete from the Actions column in the Settings table.
- Select Continue in the confirmation prompt or X to cancel.
To delete multiple settings:
- Select one or more rows in the Settings table using the checkboxes in the first column.
- Select Delete Selected Rows at the top of the table.
- Select Continue in the confirmation prompt or X to cancel.
