This article describes the default behaviour of a highly configurable system. Your granting program may appear or behave differently depending on user permissions and custom configurations. If you do not appear to have access to everything you need, use the Help > Request Help link to request additional permissions.
As part of a workflow, or when creating a stand-alone task on a proposal, a user is assigned to a task and the platform automatically sends an email notification. Reminder emails including a direct link to the task are sent to prompt users to complete their tasks.
You can also find your task to-do list or search for tasks in Task Management. Apply filters or work through your to-do list of tasks. Select a task name to open it in a new tab.
The content of tasks depends on the task templates you have configured for your program. Task details may include the proposal and other information that is important to review when taking action.
Tasks typically include either a single action (e.g. Complete Review) or a positive and negative action (e.g. Approve or Decline). To complete an action, you may be required to provide information and responses in a form, like completing a review as part of an approval workflow.
After you have chosen an action and provided all required information, select Finish to complete the task. You can use the arrows in the top right of the task window to navigate through tasks.
