Managing multiple proposals

This article describes the default behaviour of a highly configurable system. Your granting program may appear or behave differently depending on user permissions and custom configurations. If you do not appear to have access to everything you need, use the Help > Request Help link to request additional permissions.

If you want to take action on multiple proposals, you can do so from the Proposals mailbox space.

Select Proposals on the top navigation bar and apply filters to narrow search results. Here, you can select one or more proposals and take action or make changes in bulk.

The following actions are available to you:

  • Add to Decline Q: automate the decline of a proposal at a later date.
  • Labels: you can add labels in bulk to identify associated proposals. Hover over this action item to add or remove labels from proposals.
  • Export All (All results) or Selected (selected results):
    • Proposal values: export values specific to the proposal template.
    • Common values: export values that are common across all proposals.
    • Grid values: export values displayed in the search grid.
    • Generate doc/PDF/Excel: choose a custom template to export results to.
    • Export results: view all previously exported results files.
  • Show on the Map: show all or selected proposals on a map based on their location.
  • Refresh: updates the data displayed. If a user or submitter updates the proposal while it is open, Refresh to update the displayed data.

More Actions:

  • Approve: an action to approve selected proposals.
  • Decline: an action to decline selected proposals and select an email template for the decline reason. The proposals statuses are updated to Declined Manually.
  • Remove from Decline Q: stop automatic decline of selected proposals at a later date.
  • Archive: add selected proposals to the Archive.
  • Create Proposal: create a new internal proposal.
  • Send New Email: send customized email templates including proposal data.
  • Transfer: move selected proposals from one mailbox to another mailbox, transferring responsibility for those proposals.
