This article describes some of Versaic's core capabilities. Data and actions described may or may not be available to you depending on user permissions. Your platform may also differ based on configurations made to meet your organization's unique needs. Contact your program administrator or Client Success Manager to request feature changes or updates to permissions.
Labels are used to "flag" proposals so that users can quickly identify those with certain characteristics, or filter views to show proposals with certain labels. Labels can be automatically added or removed based on specific actions.
Creating new labels
Labels can be configured by the Benevity support team to be available system-wide. Users with the Label Manager permission can create labels on a mailbox-by-mailbox basis. Contact your program administrator if you would like this permission enabled.
To add a new label if you are a Label Manager:
- Navigate to the mailbox where you would like to add a label.
- Expand the Label Filter section on the left side and select Manage.
- Select Create New to add a new label.
- Enter a label Name and choose an Icon before saving.
To edit an existing label if you are a Label Manager:
- Navigate to the mailbox where you would like to edit a label.
- Expand the Label Filter section on the left side and select Manage.
- Select a label you would like to edit and then select Edit.
- Make changes as needed and save.
Adding a label to a proposal
To add a label to a proposal:
- Open a proposal.
- Select Labels > Add at the top of the proposal.
- Select a label.
The label is now added to the proposal. You can see the label icon next to the Labels field in the proposal details.
Removing a label from a proposal
To remove a label from a proposal:
- Open a proposal.
- Select Labels > Remove at the top of the proposal.
- Select a label to remove it.
The label is now removed from the proposal. The label icon is removed from the Labels field in the proposal details.
Filtering proposals by labels
You can filter proposals by labels. To apply a label filter:
- Select the Proposals tab in the top navigation bar and open a mailbox.
- Expand the Label Filter section on the left side and select Manage.
- Choose label filter settings. You can:
- Select one or more labels.
- Choose to show or hide the selected labels.
- Choose to include ANY or ALL of the selected labels.
