This article describes the default behaviour of a highly configurable system. Your granting program may appear or behave differently depending on user permissions and custom configurations. If you do not appear to have access to everything you need, use the Help > Request Help link to request additional permissions.
When you log in, you'll land on the Proposals module. Select Proposals on the top left of the navigation bar to navigate to this page.
Mailboxes
Submitted proposals are automatically assigned to a mailbox depending on your internal process. Anyone viewing the Proposals tab can only see the mailboxes they have permission to view or manage so that the right people are reviewing and approving the right proposals. Mailboxes are selected in the Mailboxes filter on the left side.
If you select a mailbox, apply filters and exit out of the platform, the same mailbox and filters are applied when you next log in.
If you cannot find a proposal, try clearing all filters. Expand each filter on the left, deselect it and Apply to clear filters.
Filtering proposals in a mailbox
When viewing proposals, the name of the mailbox you are in is displayed above the list of proposals.
On the left side, several options help you filter proposals efficiently:
- Mailboxes: all mailboxes that you have access to. Select a mailbox to view all proposals sent to that mailbox.
- Status Filter: select an option to see proposals with that status in the approval workflow.
- VIP Filter: view proposals that were entered into the system via an internal submission, rather than those submitted by an organization.
- Program Cycle: select a cycle to view related proposals.
- Label Filter: show or hide proposals with one or more labels.
- Template Filter: select a template to find proposals using the same question set.
Choose your filters and select Apply in each relevant section to confirm your choice.
There are additional filtering options at the top of the mailbox:
- Received Date Filter: enter a date range for Date Received and select Apply.
- Quick Search: enter keywords and select Search to locate Proposals. You can search for the ID, Organization Name, Proposal Name, Submitter Last Name/Email, etc.
