Reporting in a common currency

Prerequisites

To assist with your learning, it is recommended that you read Benevity Reporting: Basics. To learn how to create custom measures, check out Creating Custom Fields and Measures.

Currencies available

If you have users spread across different countries, being able to accurately estimate your program’s total spend — no matter the currency — is important.

In Benevity Reporting, you can report in different currencies by creating a calculated measure. This might come in handy for report fields like total user donation amounts, budget usage, grant payments or Peer Matching.

Currency conversion is available for CAD, EUR, GBP, USD and AUD. We use average monthly exchange rates based on the transaction date. The rates are updated at the end of each month.

You’ll find the exchange rates listed in Measures > Transactions, Causes and Users > Exchange Rates.
