Benevity Reporting glossary

There's a lot of fields and measures available in Benevity Reporting, which also means a lot of terms. This glossary may be a helpful guide while you’re building your reports.

Transactions

The Transactions fields contain information on the various transactions that are available within Benevity Reporting.

User_Internal_Transfer_Amount	The amount of the internal transaction made by the user (e.g. when purchasing a gift card or topping up a giving account). These amounts are not given directly to a cause.	100.00

Donation_User_Donation_Amount	The user funds donated within Spark.	100.00

Donation_Corporate_Donation_Amount	The amount of corporate funds going to a cause from transactions such as direct corporate donations.	100.00
Donation_Corporate_Match_Amount	The match amount provided for a donation.	100.00
Donation_Total_User_Donation_Amount	The sum of user donation amount and user external donation amount.	100.00
Donation_Total_Corporate_Donation _Amount	The total amount of corporate funds going to a cause. The sum of corporate donation amount and corporate match amount.	100.00
Donation_Rewards_Account_Donation _Amount	The donation amount spent from the user rewards account.	100.00
Donation_Total_Donation_Amount	The sum of corporate and user donations (user donation amount + user external donation amount + corporate donation amount + corporate match amount + rewards account donation amount).	100.00
DR_Amount	The amount on the individual transactions that are attached to a donation report.	100.00

Volunteer_Submission_Status	Status of the volunteer submission.	Approved
Volunteer_Submission_Status_Change _Date	The date and time when the status of a volunteer submission was changed (e.g. approved, denied).	UTC Time
Volunteer_Submission_Reward_Rejection _Message	Message recorded by the admin when a volunteer hour submission is declined.	Rejected for reason 12
Volunteer_Submission_Reward_Type	Name of the type of the volunteering reward.	Donation Currency
Volunteer_Submission_During_Work _Hours	Describes whether the hours were volunteered during work hours or during non-working hours. By default, hours are assumed to be non- working hours.	Non-Working Hours During Work Hours
