You can modify Challenges in the Benevity Catalog, tailoring them to your organization’s needs to ensure that the content is more relevant and engaging for your users.
Permissions
Administrators with the Challenges Admin user role can customize Challenges.
Customizing a Benevity Challenge
To customize a Challenge from the Benevity Catalog:
- Select Manage in the top right corner of the screen, followed by Content > Manage Challenges to view all Challenges assigned to your program.
- Browse My Catalog for Challenges authored by Benevity until you locate the Challenge you want to customize. If you have not yet done so, assign the Benevity Challenge to your catalog.
- Select the three dot icon (⋮) in the Action column next to the Challenge and choose Customize from the options.
- Make all necessary edits to the Challenge details, including:
- Updating the title
- Modifying the description, duration, and any other fields to align with your company’s program
- Select Save once all edits are complete to view the preview page, where you can review the customized Challenge. If everything is correct, select Confirm and a pop-up appears to inform you of an ownership transfer of that Challenge from Benevity to your organization. Select Confirm ownership transfer to finalize the process.
What happens to the original Challenge after customization?
The customized Challenge now appears in your catalog, authored by your company. The Benevity Challenge returns to the Benevity Catalog, but you can reassign it to your catalog if you want to customize it again in the future.
