Sending additional requests

This article describes the default behaviour of a highly configurable system. Your granting program may appear or behave differently depending on user permissions and custom configurations. If you do not appear to have access to everything you need, use the Help > Request Help link to request additional permissions.

You can optionally send additional forms to the submitter to complete. These forms are typically specific to your program needs. To release an additional form to the submitter: 

  1. Hover over More Actions > Send Additional Request.
  2. Select the Additional Form and Email Template you want to send with it
  3. Edit the email as needed and select Save - Send Email to activate the additional request form and send the email to the submitter. 

If you are in communication with the Submitter and they are expecting the form to be activated, you may opt to select Save - Send No Email.

Sending an external request

You may have task templates available to assign an external task to the submitter or another external party. Hover over More Actions > Send External Request, and choose a task template. The following task details are editable: 

  • User Name: enter the recipient's name.
  • Assigned User Email: enter an email address for the recipient.
  • Email Template: choose an email template to inform the recipient of the task.
  • Task Name: enter a title for the task.
  • Description: add or update the context for the task. 
  • Due Date: select a due date for the task. 

Select Create External Task to create the task and assign it to the external party.
