Program administrators can streamline program catalog management by archiving up to 20 volunteering opportunities at once. Bulk actions reduce repetitive tasks and make it easier to keep your volunteering catalog up to date.
Permissions
Anyone with the following roles can bulk add or archive opportunities from the volunteering catalog:
- Volunteer manager
- Volunteer manager (no reporting)
- Volunteer manager (junior admin)
Archiving an opportunity
If you no longer want a volunteer opportunity to be displayed to your people in your program catalog, you can choose to archive it using the following steps:
- Open the opportunity in the Benevity Volunteering Catalog. Go to Manage, followed by Volunteer > Volunteering Catalog
- Select Archive Opportunity on the right to remove it from your program catalog.
To archive multiple opportunities from your program catalog:
- Select the opportunities to archive using the checkboxes.
- Select Bulk Actions above the table.
- Select Archive from catalog from the dropdown menu.
Archived opportunities are removed from your program catalog and recorded in the Program Catalog History. You can re-add them to your program catalog at any time through the Volunteering Catalog.
Archived opportunities no longer accept new shift requests. However, volunteers can still:
- Use direct links to view upcoming shifts
- Track their time for any scheduled shifts
If a nonprofit removes content from Benevity's Volunteering Catalog, it is also automatically removed from your program catalog. You can find records of this in your program catalog history.
This process ensures that your program catalog is always up-to-date with meaningful opportunities that engage your employees effectively.
