Send nonprofit partners to the right Benevity resource based on where they are in their journey. Benevity supports them from registration through ongoing engagement on the Benevity Causes Portal. Use this guidance to support nonprofit partners and decide where to send nonprofits at each stage.
Understanding your role
Your role is to point your nonprofit partners to the right resource and track their progress. You do not need to resolve technical issues yourself. In practice, that means:
- Directing them to the Nonprofit Help Center whenever they have a question you cannot answer
- Sharing the resources below once they are validated, so they get more out of the platform
- Letting the nonprofit reach out to Benevity Support directly, from their own registered email
If a partner is stuck on registration or electronic funds transfer (EFT), start with Nonprofit registration or Electronic Funds Transfer. If that does not resolve the issue, contact support.
Sharing resources available to nonprofit partners
Use these self-service resources when you guide a partner. Share the Nonprofit Help Center first so they can complete steps in the Benevity Causes Portal themselves.
- Nonprofit Help Center: FAQ articles, platform tips, and step-by-step instructions, available in 20 languages
- Georgie, the AI chatbot: Available 24/7 for immediate answers and to point nonprofits to the right resource. Nonprofits can open the Georgie chat panel (often in the bottom-right corner of the Nonprofit Help Center).
- Direct support: For anything Georgie cannot resolve, nonprofits can submit a ticket from the Nonprofit Help Center to reach Benevity’s dedicated Nonprofit Support team.
- Webinars, eBooks, and guidance: Ongoing content to keep nonprofits informed on platform updates and best practices
For registration guidance, use Nonprofit registration. For payment setup, use Electronic Funds Transfer. After a partner is fully set up, share the resources in Nonprofit engagement.
