Review your giving and volunteering opportunities

Creating Volunteer and Giving Opportunities is just the beginning of building an engaging Goodness program. It’s important to add new and remove old content to keep your site fresh and relevant for your people!

Review and Edit Action Items

To review any new pending content, first locate it under Actions Items in the dashboard on the “Manage” side of your site. If there are any items in your task list, they'll be listed here. Select Take Action for a list view of all new and queued items that are pending and waiting to be reviewed. From here, you can use the filters to locate the opportunities you’d like to manage.

When you find the opportunity you're looking for, select Edit and you’ll see multiple options for editing, including the option to open the full opportunity so you can review all of its content. From here, you can make any changes you'd like and then re-save the opportunity as Queued, Approved or Declined.

Once you've reviewed all the content and returned to the list view of queued opportunities, you can use the Bulk Operations option to ApprovePublish and Feature the opportunities in bulk or individually.

Manage Existing Content

You can use Bulk Operations to manage any old or outdated content by Unfeaturing, Unpublishing and even Archiving these opportunities. First decide if you want to remove the content from the highlighted carousel or remove the opportunity from user access altogether. In the table below, you can see the full list of bulk actions and statuses that apply to both Giving and Volunteer Opportunities.
