To manage the Community Impact (CI) Portal on your own, you must be assigned the Community Portal Manager Role in Spark. The CI Portal Configuration page allows you to add and edit text, update featured content, and configure the donation and matching options available throughout the portal.
CI Portal Configuration – Sharing Settings
Click the Sharing Settings tab to enable different social sharing options and add default message content.
1. Message Tokens
Adding these tokens to a text block will allow your default messages to include names, links and site names specific to the cause or Giving Opportunity they’re attached to.
2. CI Portal Social Media and Sharing
Enable sharing through Twitter, Facebook and/or LinkedIn by selecting the Enable Sharing checkbox for the appropriate platform
Add a default sharing message that people can use to talk about or promote your CI Portal. You can also add an editable donation message that people can share through social media after they donate to a Giving Opportunity, cause or project. Click Submit to save your settings & content.
Pro-tip: A little social media legwork goes a long way when it comes to spreading the word about your Goodness Programs. Default sharing messages enable people to spread your message through their networks, increasing your reach and engaging more people. Including your @Twitter handle and creating a #hashtag for each Giving Opportunity makes it easy for people to get the word out about your efforts!
