Updates to product names

Changes starting: Oct 1, 2024

Benevity product names are changing, but your experience stays the same.

What is changing?

Beginning in October, you’ll notice that Benevity is updating several product names. There is no action required on your part. These changes do not impact your current functionality, and will not impact your administrative or end-user experience. Note for Alaya clients: This name change does not apply to the Alaya products. 

  • Current product name: Spark
  • New product names: Volunteer and/or Donate, depending on your program

     
  • Current product name: Affinity Groups
  • New product name: Employee Groups 

     
  • Current product name: Benevity Grants, Versaic
  • New product name: Community Investment

Where you will see the changes, beginning in October:

Changes will be rolled out at the beginning of October 2024, and will conclude by early 2025.

  • B-Hive enhancements to the help center
  • Benevity.com website
  • Updated Software and Service Information, reorganized for clarity and reflected new names and descriptions 
  • All email communications after Oct. 1, 2024

Why is Benevity making this change?

These changes are designed to make it easy to learn about Benevity’s products and their features.

What do I need to do?
